As we step into 2025, I want to challenge you to think differently about profit in your real estate business. Not just as numbers on a spreadsheet, but as a divine appointment with purpose.
Ask yourself: Are you running a business that aligns with your divine purpose, or are you just chasing the next commission check? Are we even profitable enough?
The Power of Intentional Decision-Making
Listen, it’s one thing to know you need to be profitable – we all know that. But here’s what most agents miss: profitability isn’t just a business goal, it’s a spiritual decision that opens doors to reality. When you make that firm decision to be profitable, something powerful happens. It’s like the Bible says – you will have what you say.
Self-reflection questions:
– Have I made a firm, unwavering decision about profitability, or am I still wavering?
– What’s holding me back from fully committing to building a profitable business?
– Am I treating profit as an afterthought or a fundamental principle?
The Universal System of Success
Think about this: If you’re called by God’s name, your real estate business isn’t just about closing deals. According to Deuteronomy 8:18, it’s a platform for building wealth with purpose. This means every system in your business needs to align with Kingdom principles.
The foundational system I run my entire operation on is seed time and harvest. It’s not complicated, but it is profound:
– You sow seeds consistently (actions, service, value)
– You wait the appointed time (patience and faith)
– God and Jesus, the Lord of the harvest, ensure your return
Examine your foundation:
– How am I currently applying Kingdom principles in my business operations?
– Where do I see the seed-time-harvest principle working in my business?
– Am I operating my business with patience and faith, or am I constantly rushing?
Strategic Business Automation
Now, here’s where it gets practical. When I talk about systems, I’m not just talking about fancy software or checklists. I’m talking about creating divine automation in your business. Think about it – when your business runs on autopilot in the right areas, you’re free to focus on what I call “high ticket, high value, high dollar activities.”
Without this systematic structure, you’ll find yourself:
– Constantly putting out fires
– Reacting instead of creating
– Missing opportunities for exponential growth
– Struggling to break into that million-dollar agent lane
Systems check questions:
– Which areas of my business could run on autopilot but currently require my constant attention?
– What high-value activities am I missing because I’m stuck in day-to-day operations?
– Have I identified my “high ticket, high value, high dollar activities”?
Playing Offense in Your Business
Most real estate agents are playing defense. They’re:
1. Working from crisis to crisis
2. Never building true infrastructure
3. Missing the foundation needed for sustainable growth
But here’s the truth – systems aren’t just about organization. They’re about playing offense in your business. They’re your strategy for staying ahead instead of always catching up.
Assessment questions:
– How much of my time is spent reacting versus creating?
– When was the last time I worked ON my business instead of IN my business?
– What systems could prevent the fires I’m constantly putting out?
Your Million-Dollar Foundation
Want to know why your real estate business isn’t hitting those consistent profit numbers? It’s not because you’re not working hard enough. It’s because you haven’t laid the proper infrastructure.
Remember Psalms 1 – we need to be “planted firm by the tree of living water so everything we touch shall prosper.” That’s not just pretty poetry – it’s a business principle.
From Agent to CEO: The Mindset Shift
Here’s what changes when you shift from realtor to business owner:
– You see yourself separate from your business
– You treat your LLC as a real entity
– You make decisions based on data, not emotion
– You track everything meticulously
The Strategic Action Plan
I’m hosting a free webinar on January 28th at 4 PM where I’ll show you exactly how to:
– Manage your finances through a proven framework
– Track profit and loss effectively
– Break down commissions strategically
– Use a balance sheet properly
– Identify truly profitable activities
Proven strategies that align with both business wisdom and biblical principles. And on top of that, hit your profit goals!
Mindset evaluation:
– Am I ready to implement new financial tracking systems?
– Which of these areas do I need the most help with?
– What’s stopping me from taking control of my business finances?
Here’s what I want you to understand: profit is a decision. Every successful business made the conscious choice to track and follow profit. In our CEO coaching program, we use a specific tracker that helps agents monitor their numbers monthly. Why? Because what gets measured gets managed.
Want to make 2025 different? Start by:
1. Making the decision to be profitable
2. Setting up proper tracking systems
3. Implementing proven business principles
4. Following strategic systems
5. Staying committed to your growth
