Have you ever felt like you’re constantly starting over in your real estate business? One week you’re making calls, the next you’re trying social media, then you’re back to open houses – with nothing really sticking?

I’ve been there too. After coaching hundreds of real estate agents and building multiple 7-figure businesses, I’ve discovered that consistency isn’t just about discipline – it’s about understanding deeper principles that keep you showing up even when results aren’t immediate.

Let me share what I’ve learned about the power of consistency and how it can transform your real estate business from sporadic success to predictable profits.

The Biblical Principle Behind Business Success

Consistency isn’t just a good business practice – it’s a biblical principle. In the Bible, we call it faithfulness, and it opens the door for you to operate in the blessings of God in your business.

The most successful people in business aren’t necessarily the most talented – they’re the most consistent. Yet so many agents (both new and seasoned) struggle with consistency because we don’t understand how to tap into it or why inconsistency happens in the first place.

When you understand the biblical principle of seed time and harvest, everything changes. Every activity in your business is a seed. Those phone calls, social media posts, open houses – they’re all seeds you’re planting. The harvest is the relationships and sales that come later.

But here’s the key: if you’re not consistent in sowing the seeds, you won’t be consistent in reaping the harvest.

Three Reasons Why You Struggle With Consistency

1. You Don’t Understand Seed Time and Harvest

You have to reframe how you view your daily activities and see them as seeds. If I want to build a business with lots of clients, I need to sow seeds of conversation, connection, and relationship-building first. Then the harvest can be the relationship and the sale.

What you do with your seed determines whether you’ll get a harvest. When I consistently sow seeds, I consistently reap harvests. But if I don’t understand how seed time and harvest works, I won’t see the value in consistency.

2. You Forget You Have an Enemy

The Bible says we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and spiritual wickedness in high places. Your enemy isn’t going to let you create a multimillion-dollar business without a fight.

But here’s the beautiful truth: seed time and harvest will remain as long as the earth remains. Even if there are forces working against you, your consistent effort will override them because the seed will produce a harvest.

When I consistently sow seeds for my business – making it a habit instead of a once-in-a-while activity – I position myself for inevitable success.

3. You Don’t Understand How Your Mind Works

Your conscious mind is the goal setter. It’s what says, “I want to be a successful real estate agent” or “I want to make $100,000 this year.” It determines your direction and actions.

But your conscious mind doesn’t accomplish the goal – your subconscious mind does. Your subconscious is the goal getter that brings what you want to you.

The only way to program your subconscious mind is through repetition. And that’s exactly where most agents fall short – they don’t do anything repetitively! I give agents a 90-day activity plan, and most quit after two weeks, saying “it doesn’t work.”

That’s like planting a seed and digging it up two weeks later because it hasn’t produced fruit yet. The plan was 90 days for a reason!

How To Make Consistency Your Superpower

When you understand the principle of faithfulness and seed time and harvest, consistency becomes your superpower in business. Here’s how to apply this in practical terms:

  1. See daily activities as seeds: Instead of viewing lead generation as this big, overwhelming task, see it as planting small seeds every day.
  2. Commit to daily planting: Some days you might talk to 20 people, some days just five – but there isn’t a day that goes by that you’re not sowing seeds.
  3. Trust the process: Just like pregnancy takes 9 months no matter how much you wish it would go faster, business growth takes time. Trust the process and stay consistent.
  4. Use your database as your harvest field: Once you’ve sown seeds everywhere, you need a place to gather them. Your database is where you mine and nurture for the harvest.
  5. Program your subconscious through repetition: When you consistently engage in lead generation activities, you’re programming your subconscious mind to bring you the harvest from those seeds.

Moving From Active to Passive Real Estate

The ultimate goal is to move from the active side of real estate to the passive side. When you understand these principles and apply them consistently, you can build systems that work for you.

I’ve never done anything differently in my business except elevate what I’m already doing – making it more effective and efficient by adding automation and AI. That’s what mastery does.

If you keep starting over, starting and stopping, you’ll never reach a level of mastery that attracts million-dollar business. Consistency is what gets you there.

A Prayer For Your Business

I believe God is for your business, and I want to leave you with this prayer:

God, thank you for the person reading this right now. Give them assurance that you have called them to business. Help them understand Deuteronomy 8:18, that you have given them the power to get wealth so that you may establish your covenant.

Help them understand that they have a right to the same covenant promises you made to Abraham. Help them understand Proverbs 16:3, that if they commit their works to you, you will cause their thoughts to become agreeable with your will.

God, help them see their business as a distribution center to be a blessing to others. Give them the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of might, the spirit of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord.

Open the eyes of their understanding so they can have a more revelatory relationship with the Holy Spirit. Encourage them and help them understand that they are the head, not the tail, the lender, not the borrower.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Taking Your Next Step

Understanding that you’re called to business for a time such as this can help with your consistency. What you’re experiencing isn’t an accident. There’s an answer in God’s word – you just need to learn how to apply it to your business.

Remember: consistency in sowing seeds leads to consistency in reaping harvests. Your business growth isn’t about doing more things – it’s about doing the right things consistently.
