Before the system:
I was calling people with no plan. No notes. No tags. No follow-up cadence. I'd talk to someone, forget what we discussed, and never call them back. My "database" was a messy spreadsheet I opened once a month and felt guilty about.
I was doing the work. But the work wasn't working.
After the system:
I called a woman every 6 days for a year. She hung up on me more times than I can count. She'd listed her house with 10 different realtors before me.
On the last call, she said "Come meet with me so you'll stop calling me."
I listed her house. Sold it for nearly double the list price. Got both sides — full 7% commission. She referred me her sister, her mother, and the buyer who purchased her house came back to me when they sold it too.
That didn't happen because I'm lucky. It happened because I had a system. Every 6 days, a task reminded me to call. My notes told me exactly what we discussed. My database turned persistence into profit.
